Vatheia is a hauntingly beautiful village of tower houses perched on a hilltop overlooking the Aegean Sea.

While the village is semi-abandoned, its unique architecture and the colors of nature—ochre stones, rust-colored rooftops, and green cacti—combine for a raw, earthy palette. The wildflowers that bloom in spring splash the landscape with color, making this ghost village incredibly photogenic.
