Folegandros is an under-the-radar Cycladic island with one of the most charming villages in Greece. Chora, the island’s main village, is built atop a steep cliff, offering stunning views of the Aegean.
The village is known for its white cubic houses, bougainvillea-filled courtyards, and the famous Panagia Church, which sits on a hill overlooking the town. Unlike Santorini, Folegandros retains a quieter, more serene ambiance.
