3Try the Local Cuisine

Greek island cuisine is always a highlight, and Milos is no exception. Be sure to try “pitarakia,” small cheese-filled pastries, and fresh seafood such as octopus, grilled fish, and lobster pasta.

The island is also known for its sweet treats like “koufeto,” a dessert made with almonds and honey. Local tavernas in Pollonia and Plaka serve up some of the best dishes.
