2You Can Walk in Europe’s Longest Gorge

Samaria Gorge, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, is Europe’s longest gorge, stretching 16 kilometers (10 miles).
Hiking through it is a bucket-list experience, offering dramatic cliffs, narrow passages, and encounters with rare wildlife, including the kri-kri. The trek ends at the village of Agia Roumeli, where hikers can cool off in the Libyan Sea.
