4It Wasn’t Built Overnight

The construction of the Acropolis as we know it today was a massive undertaking. The main building phase occurred during the 5th century BCE under the leadership of Pericles, but earlier versions of temples and structures existed before then.

The ambitious project took decades to complete and involved thousands of skilled workers, including architects, sculptors, and laborers. The Parthenon alone took approximately 15 years to build.
