One of the most famous sculptures in the world, the Venus de Milo (Aphrodite of Milos) is believed to represent Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty.

Discovered on the island of Milos in 1820, this stunning marble statue is noted for its missing arms, enigmatic expression, and masterful depiction of the female form. It is currently housed in the Louvre Museum in Paris.
