This is one of the most picturesque and most romantic islands and the world.

Therefore it can get pretty busy during high summer season but the views of the sunset and landscape combined with Cycladic architecture makes it worth the visit. With two main cities, Fira the capital and Oia with its luxurious boutique cave hotels and spectacular sunsets, the island is buzzing with a magical energy.

This is one of the most cosmopolitan islands n the Mediterannean and a place to see and be seen, especially if you are a celebrity. This island is famous for its night life, beaches and Instagram friendly hotels. While there, take a day trip to the nearby island of Delos for an ancient history lesson.

If you are coming to Greece by a plane this is probably going to be your first stop. Athens has a lot to offer as the capital and as a city that has a great heritage when it comes to history. Spend a couple of days exploring its archaelogical sites and getting lost in the alleys of Plaka.

Unlike its neigbours Santorini and Mykonos that get overcrowded during summer months, this island doesn’t see as much of the crowds. Yet, it doesn’t make it less worth visiting. It offers plenty of spots for sightseeing and strolling in the old town  of Chora as well as many beaches to choose from during the hot summer days.

One of the smaller islands of the Cycladic archipelago, this island has become popular for its nightlife and natural beauties. With white houses and chapels with blue domes it offers some of the best views around. It’s also the place of Homer’s tomb.
