1Delphi Archaeological Museum (Delphi)

The ancient sanctuary of Delphi, once considered the center of the world in Greek mythology, is home to the Delphi Archaeological Museum. This museum showcases artifacts from the famous Oracle of Delphi and the Temple of Apollo. One of its most notable exhibits is the Charioteer of Delphi, one of the finest examples of ancient Greek bronze sculpture, dating to 470 BC.

The museum also houses the Sphinx of Naxos, a large marble statue that once stood at the sanctuary, dedicated to Apollo. Additionally, visitors can explore relics from the Treasury of the Athenians, which housed offerings from the city of Athens to the god Apollo. The museum, combined with the breathtaking ruins of Delphi, offers a mystical and historically enriching experience.
