The “Island of the winds”, popular among the jetsetters, has been blessed with many beaches. They are all one of a kind and everyone can choose their favorite one based on their own preferences.

PARAGA

This beach has reached a new level thanks to its top- notch beach clubs that have an incomparable experience of leisure and fine flavors in store for their visitors. A visitor’s daily agenda in Paraga includes swimming in the bright blue waters, walk on the sugar white shore and gazing to Delos. Paraga is 5km away from Chora and can also be reached by boat from Platis Gialos.

AGHIOS SOSTIS

The Mykonian paradise, 3.7 miles away from Chora, that used to be a nudist haven, has now been transformed into an alternative destination for travelers craving its turquoise waters and isolation. There are no sunshades, sun beds and beach bars. During August, the beach is exposed to the etesian winds.

AGHIOS STEFANOS

An ideal location for those who want to be next to Chora and to the new Tourlos port. The shallow waters, maneagble size and family friendly character are the reasons why many families with children choose it as a holiday destination. The sunset with view to Delos and Rinieia is amazing.

ELIA

Elia is the most organized beach on the island. In addition to its splendid image, with its shallow crystal clear sea waters and fine sands, you are bound to visit it for plenty of water sports offered (jet ski, windsurfing, water skiing, parasailing, scuba diving). Another reason to visit it is the namesake beach- bar restaurant, which offers excellent customer service.

KALAFATIS

Water sport enthusiasts love this large bay 14km southeast of Chora. Kalafatis, which has been awarded a Blue Flag, is almost constantly affected by north winds which favor windsurfing and jet ski. You’ll never be bored since there are sunshades, sun beds, windsurfing school, water sports school and taverns.

AGHIOS IOANNIS

The beach is named after the picturesque little church of Aghios Ioannis. Apart from swimming in the crystal clear water waters, you will also be drawn to this place by its unparalleled vibes and its unique views of Delos. The setting is ideal; golden sand, crystal clear sea and the sacred island of the ancient times right in the horizon.

ORNOS

Being within walking distance from Chora (2.5miles) makes it one of the most popular choices among visitors. The busy, organized beach has everything one might want: taverns, restaurants, cafe bars, deck chairs and wi- fi for the internet- obsessed. Many yachts anchor at this leeward bay.

PARADISE (KALAMOPODI)

The infinite beach with the magical seabed and the thick sand. In the daily agenda of Paradise you may find non- stop parties, countless shots and loud music. We give ans A for its organization. It’s also accessible by boat from Ornos or Platis Gialos.

PLATIS GIALOS

This wide- platis in Greek, hence the name- Mykonian shore, both family friendly and popular with sports enthusiasts, is located 5km south of Chora. It is fully organized with sun umbrellas and sunbeds and lined with hotels and restaurants. As one of the most crowded beaches on the island, it attracts mainly families, tourists and fans of water sports.

KORFOS

With constant winds, shallow waters, a golden sandy beach and the futuristic center Kite Mikonos, Korfos has been promoted into a paradise for both beginners and advanced kite- surfing fans.

PANORMOS

An area adorned with unique natural beauty in the northern part of Mykonos, 3 miles from Chora. A usual day will include  windsurfing and savoring Mediterranean delicacies in an unrivaled beach bar restaurant, with a casual chic ambience and unparalleled service.

FOKOS

Quietly tucked away from the prying eyes sits our own little gem of Mykonos, Fokos beach. PSAROU

A coastal meeting point of jetsetters and VIPs, on the way to Platis Gialos. Greek and foreign celebrities make their appearances at this idyllic bay with the sugar- like sand, the turquoise waters and the luxury yachts. AGRARI

The easiest way to get to the southwest leeward coast  (5.6 miles from Chora) is by boat from Platis Gialos. Alternatively, you can drive along a risky street sandy beach that leads to deep blue waters. At the namesake beach bar on the organized beach, you will be able to enjoy cool cocktails and quality Greek cuisine, but also rent water- sports equipment.

KALO LIVADI

A popular attraction for both the domestic and international celebrities situated 5.6 miles south of Chora. A sandy beach, surrounded by the deep blue of the Aegean, fully equipped with sun beds, beach bars, water sports school and numerous restaurants. It is also preferred by a great number of families.
