4Limnos – The Volcanic Beauty

Limnos is an underrated island that offers a perfect mix of history, nature, and relaxation. Known for its volcanic landscapes, ancient ruins, and pristine beaches, Limnos remains largely untouched by mass tourism.  

The capital, Myrina, boasts a medieval castle with spectacular sea views, while the island’s wineries produce excellent local wines. Highlights include the sandy dunes of Gomati, the therapeutic hot springs of Therma, and the archaeological site of Hephaistia, dedicated to the Greek god of fire.
