7Canopy Walk, Kakum National Park, Ghana

In the lush rainforest of Ghana’s Kakum National Park, the Canopy Walk consists of a series of hanging bridges strung between towering tropical trees.

Made of rope and planks, the bridges stretch 350 meters (1,150 feet) in total, at heights of up to 40 meters (130 feet). While breathtaking, the rope netting and bouncing sensation as people cross make even adventurous visitors nervous.
