11Winged Victory of Samothrace

This breathtaking statue, also known as Nike of Samothrace, is a depiction of the goddess Nike, who personified victory. 

Dating back to the 2nd century BCE, the sculpture is remarkable for its dynamic pose, flowing drapery, and sense of motion. Now displayed at the Louvre Museum, it is considered one of the finest examples of Hellenistic art.
