2Day 4: Volcanic Beauty of Santorini and Flight to Crete
Start your morning exploring more of Santorini’s unique landscape. Visit the volcanic beaches of Red Beach or Perissa, where black and red sands contrast sharply with the blue sea. You can also take a boat tour around the caldera for a closer view of the volcanic cliffs and hot springs.
For a deeper cultural experience, explore traditional villages such as Pyrgos or Megalochori. These inland settlements offer a quieter side of the island, with narrow alleys, old churches, and fewer crowds.
In the afternoon, take a short flight to Crete, the largest island in Greece. Crete feels like a world of its own, with mountains, beaches, and cities all within reach.
