9Navagio Beach – Zakynthos

Perhaps Greece’s most iconic beach, Navagio Beach—also known as Shipwreck Beach—is tucked inside a secluded cove surrounded by towering cliffs on Zakynthos.

Accessible only by boat, the beach is famous for the rusting shipwreck resting on its white pebbles, creating one of the country’s most recognizable landscapes. The electric-blue waters surrounding the bay are unlike anywhere else in Europe.

For the best experience, admire the beach from both the sea and the famous clifftop viewpoint overlooking the entire bay.
