Solaris was delivered in 2021 by German shipbuilder Lloyd Werft. Measuring approximately 139.7 meters, it is slightly shorter than some of the giants on this list, but its sophisticated construction and extensive amenities reportedly pushed its cost to around $600 million.
The yacht demonstrates an important reality of the superyacht industry: length alone does not determine price. Interior design, engineering, technology, materials and highly customized features can dramatically increase the final bill.
