4Day 1: Arrival & Caldera Magic
Your Santorini journey begins with arrival at Santorini Airport or the island’s port. After checking into your hotel, ideally along the caldera, take some time to settle in and soak up your first views of the Aegean.
Head straight to Fira, the island’s vibrant capital perched dramatically on the cliffs. Wander through its narrow streets lined with boutiques, cafés, and viewpoints. This is the perfect introduction to Santorini’s iconic aesthetic.
In the afternoon, consider walking along the caldera path toward Firostefani and Imerovigli. This scenic route offers breathtaking views of the volcanic islands and is far less crowded than the famous Oia path.
End your first day with dinner overlooking the caldera. As the sun dips into the sea, the sky turns shades of pink, orange, and gold—a signature Santorini moment you’ll never forget.
